Terms of Payment - staydress
These Terms of Payment ("Terms") govern all payment transactions for purchases made on the staydress website (the "Site") for Women's Clothing, Petites, Evening Dresses, and Accessories. By placing an order on the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms, alongside our Terms of Purchase and other applicable policies.
1. Currency of Payment
All transactions on the Site are processed and settled in United States Dollars (USD). Product prices, taxes (if applicable), and any other charges are displayed exclusively in USD at checkout. No other currencies are accepted for payment.
If your payment method is denominated in a currency other than USD, your payment provider will apply its own currency conversion rate to process the transaction. staydress is not responsible for any currency conversion fees, markups, or exchange rate fluctuations imposed by your bank or payment service provider.
2. Accepted Payment Methods

3. Payment Authorization & Processing
Payment for your order will be authorized immediately upon order submission. You authorize us to charge the total order amount (including product costs, applicable taxes, and any fees) to your selected payment method.
If your payment is declined or cannot be authorized for any reason (e.g., insufficient funds, expired card, incorrect billing information), your order will not be processed. We will notify you via email of the payment failure, and you will need to update your payment details and resubmit the order.
Orders are only confirmed and processed for shipment once payment has been successfully authorized and captured.
4. Taxes & Additional Charges
Applicable sales taxes, value-added taxes (VAT), or other government-mandated taxes will be calculated and added to your order total at checkout, based on your shipping address. The final tax amount is determined in accordance with the laws of the destination country/region.
For international orders, any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. These charges are not included in the order total and will not be covered by staydress. Please check with your local customs office for details on applicable fees before placing your order.
5. Refund of Payments
Refunds for eligible returns or canceled orders will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy, within 5-10 business days of return inspection or order cancellation confirmation.
All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, in the same amount and currency (USD) as the original transaction. Refund processing times may vary based on your payment provider’s policies; credit card refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, while PayPal refunds are usually credited within 3-5 business days.
We do not offer cash refunds, store credit, or gift cards as refund alternatives, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
6. Payment Security
We prioritize the security of your payment information and use industry-standard encryption technology (Secure Socket Layer, SSL) to protect all data transmitted between your device and our servers. Your credit card details and payment information are never stored on our systems; all payment processing is handled by our trusted third-party payment service providers, who comply with strict data security standards (e.g., PCI DSS).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your payment account details (e.g., card numbers, PayPal login credentials) and for notifying your payment provider immediately of any unauthorized use of your payment method.
7. Non-Payment & Late Payment
staydress does not offer installment plans, deferred payment options, or credit accounts. Full payment for your order is required at the time of purchase.
In the event of repeated payment failures or suspected fraudulent payment activity, we reserve the right to cancel your order, restrict your access to the Site, and report the incident to the relevant payment providers and authorities.
